all this talk of shoes got me hankerin' to go browsing at zappos.
it turns out i have a shoe named after me, but it's the most unattractive footwear known to (wo)man.
seriously. i dare you to find me something uglier than that.

Posted by: lisa at March 23, 2005 02:39 PMhrm. The basic shape is fine, but the orange, and pink, and green, and the woven-ness....eesh.
It's not the ugliest I've ever seen, but it certainly doesn't work. It's like they just assigned different options and hit "send."

Posted by: lainey at March 24, 2005 09:56 AMhold the phone... these might be more ugly:

(given the price, they're REALLY repellent!)
blackbird-
what *kind* of men's shoes do you wear? i might have to schedule a trip to tuvalu to get you in some pointy-toed shoes.
I wear men's shoes too! At least I have one pair--some canvas topsider style loafers. They didn't have any in the women's section, but plenty in the men's. Generally, I prefer the men's styles to the women's because women's shoes don appear to be designed for actual walking on real-life surfaces.
