the house next to mine is for sale
it's a really cool neighborhood. the world's best park is just a couple of blocks away, and several local rock stars live on the street. we can be pals and borrow cups of sugar from each other. oh, and don't forget we've got that swank backyard pool in the summer.
i promise to get rid of the stinky grass by the time you move in.
Posted by xta at October 30, 2005 11:10 PM | TrackBackHoly heck, girl, do you know how unnerving it is for Angelenos to see real estate listings from NORMAL markets?? Oh man, and a really fine neighbor like you too. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep after this. I'll have to repeat over and over, "but it's a red state....it's a red state...." Nah, even that won't work. I remember the Triangle. Wish we could move in--you wouldn't even have to get rid of the stinky grass on our account.

yes, it's a red state, but the county is blue as can be. come on back! :-)
christa -- we need to recruit someone cool to buy that house! we should tell the real estate agent to use "awesome neighbors" as a selling point!
Posted by: jill at October 31, 2005 8:34 AMcalling PHIL! christa, how sunny is that yard? phil told me this weekend that he needs a lot of sun on his house.
Posted by: lisa at October 31, 2005 8:58 AMthough i haven't analyzed it fully, i believe my back yard is sunnier than theirs, but their front & side yards are sunnier than mine.
Posted by: christa at October 31, 2005 11:31 AMI'm with Penny....after paying for a condo in the Boston area I'm not going to be able to sleep at night after seeing that cute, ENTIRE house for that price.
