got heaven the whole day long

i am counting the hours (47) until ray & i leave for the beach.

this will be the third year we've done this --rented an oceanfront house over the thanksgiving holiday-- and it has become something we really look forward to. just the two of us, alone, with a bunch of nothing planned for 5 whole days.

i've been thinking about just what kind of nothing i want to do while i'm there. we'll watch some DVDs, sure. probably read a couple of magazines and books. some knitting, perhaps. the ipod. in years past, though, by day 3 or so i really want some kind of new nothing to do.

i learned to make jewelry this weekend. maybe i'll bring some beads along and see if i can crank out some christmas gifts.
