OMG!! What a hoot! It does have that early century feel of throw-in-everything-including-the-kitchen-sink musical productions. Like, how does THAT fit into the plot?? Doesn't matter!

I think I enjoyed the singing more than the gymnastic contortions. But I liked looking for the editing and production decisions in the choreography.

Did you notice that when that one girl picked up the apple with her teeth, the apple leapt upward at that point? I also kept looking for the safety net under the straw. And afterwards, she ran towards the others and they cartwheeled out of there in one long shot. Wow. How many takes did *that* all take? Do they take positions just before she runs into frame? And how many directors and whip-crackings does this require?

I also notice it was still before the era of navels. Really, too fascinating. I'm going to go do something else now...

Holy CRAP. It is just NOT NATURAL to be able to touch your head to your butt, or your ankles to your ears. That's CRAZY!!!!

That was so funny though it makes me wonder a.) what kind of potato salad isn't solid and b.) what does potato salad have to do with extrodinary feats of human flexibility?
