The first one means, ladies, don't ask "oh god why do i have these terrible cramps every month?" but just accept that He knew what He was doing and it's all part of a Greater Purpose.

The second one? No clue. Do people like to believe that God has put a yoke around their neck? Hmmm. I thought good Xtians were supposed to be sheep, not oxen.

I think the second one refers to 2 Corinthians 6:14:
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"

That first one is particularly weird. I think Minty is spot on and we are supposed to suffer from Eve's transgressions in perpetuity. I don't want no yoke of any kind, thank you very much.

perhaps the 2nd one has to do with the idea of "turning the other cheek"? Don't get the yoke reference though... or how it relates to that passage from Corinthians?

The 2nd on is referring to Acts 7:51: Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers [did], so [do] ye.

I'd interpret the first as 'don't question what God says'... or, as some might put it, 'don't question what we say God says.'

The second I'm pretty sure is a reference to Jesus' words in Matthew 11:29-30:
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

This begs an obvious question; why churches advertise to Christians I do not know.
