On January 26, 1994 I flew to Seoul, Korea, for a 10 day vacation.

You may ask yourself, "Why go to Korea for a *vacation*??"
This is a very good question. :)

I had never been overseas before, and I knew that if I ever got the opportunity to do so, I would want to go someplace unusual. (I had absolutely no desire to be a member of the throngs of tourists at the Eiffel Tower, if you know what I mean.)

So when my friends Steve & Betsy moved to Seoul to teach English, I decided that Korea was 'unusual' enough for me, and when I found a cheap airfare, I packed up my passport and went.

The following pages tell the story of my trip. I won't say that it was the best vacation I ever had. I won't even say that I had fun. But I certainly had an unforgettable experience...
